I finally got around to updating the blog with December/Christmas pictures because I took a personal day due to the snow. And the cool part is I didn't have to feel guilty since no one wants to chance a preggo falling in bad weather. The first couple of pictures are actually from the day after Christmas when Nathan, his sister, Bethany, her boyfriend, Kendall, Nathan's friend, Mike, his girlfriend, Lauren, and her kids, Gracie and Graylin went ice skating and then to a cupcake place. (Graham and I went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakal, since I can't ice skate while pregnant and Graham can't ice skate and doesn't want to!).

The next few pictures are from Christmas morning when Graham opened his Christmas presents from Santa Claus and us. We had the tree downstairs this year since we later hosted the Waller side of my family that afternoon. After that, we went to Nathan's parents' house and then went to see Sherlock Holmes (Graham stayed at his MaMa and PaPa's with his cousins while we were at the movie.) I had trouble staying awake in the movie after such a long day.

I know I'm doing this all backwards but the next few pictures are from Josh's house on Christmas Eve. It was just our immediate family for the most part and my Uncle Joe who was in town from Ohio. Josh cooked a roast and we opened presents and just hung out. It was very laid back and relaxing.

On Dec. 20th, we had the Meyer family Christmas over at my in-law's house. It was a great time as usual. We ate, exchanged presents, laughed and even played a round of Bananagrams.

This last set of pictures is from the Rocco Christmas party on Dec. 13th. It encompasses every generation from the great aunts and uncles down to the 3rd and 4th cousins.

BABY NEWS:
I am 38 weeks pregnant as of today. I had an ultrasound last week that showed Rocco as a healthy baby boy weighing at 7 lbs., 8 oz. Yesterday my Dr. told me that is in the 53rd percentile so that means he's of average weight. However, the Dr. said that this weight may not be accurate and since I'm still measuring small, he wouldn't be surprised if the baby is born weighing less than 8 lbs. If it is accurate, he estimates Rocco's birth weight around 8 1/2 lbs. So, it's really just a guessing game. I am barely dilated at this point but almost all the way effaced. And Rocco's head is very low. I'm hoping that this means when I go into labor, everything will move quickly. Fingers crossed, anyway. We have our bags packed (for the most part) and are just waiting for go-time!
Other news:
Graham starts trainging for baseball season soon. He is playing on the Scorpions this year. No more Tigers. He will start batting cages soon. He will be changing a lot diapers though sooner! Yeah, right! :)
We hope everyone had a Happy Holiday and a Fabulous New Year! Here's to a blessed 2010! Whoo Hoo!
Love,
