Rocco loves shoes, shoe laces & anything else he sholdn't put in his mouth!
Funny car notes I saw last week: "This car has been broken into many times. There is nothing of value in it!" hahahaha!

Rocco with a bib on his head. This picture was taken with my cell phone that has a VERY bright flash!
Rocco had an opthalmalogist appointment last week and we got some REALLY good news. As of right now, his vision is the same as a baby without Albinism!!! They said he tracks and focuses on small objects very well. It's also good that he hasn't developed a null point so far (looking at objects from a weird angle in order to see them better). We are so thankful for this. Nathan and I kept talking about how we felt that he could see pretty well so it's nice to hear it from the professionals. He will go back in 6 months and be checked for glasses. He does have some far-sightedness at this point but they said all babies his age have this.
Speaking of Rocco, he's growing like a weed! And he's very mobile now. He army-crawls all over the place and is getting into things he shouldn't! It's exhausting. He also had to have his crib lowered because he has started pulling up. Once it was lowered, he immediately pulled himself up into a standing position. It's amazing how fast he is growing up and learning new things. He babbles a lot too. While babbling, there is a "dada" sound but I don't know if he knows what he's saying. He likes to scream a lot too. He is very high energy most of the time! Yes, we're in trouble!
Graham has made the transition to middle school. He started a new school district this year too (Pattonville SD). He seems to be liking it so far. I asked him last night if it seems harder than elementary school and he said, "a little bit". He's still been practicing for fall baseball with his new team and the games should start up soon. He's a big help with Rocco and I love listening to the two of them laughing at each other.
This past weekend my mom and me took a girl's getaway trip to Kansas City, MO. We had a good time and it was nice to get some R&R. It's been a while since she and I could just shop the day away without a care in the world.
September should be a busy month for the Meyers! I know I'm looking forward to fall.
