Last weekend was the first time we participated in the Delta Gamma Run for Sight. We were overwhelmed (in a good way) at the amount of support we received from family and friends. We raised over $1700, way above our $500 goal. The Race as a whole, raised $80,000. We want to thank everyone that donated and/or came out on race day. It turned out to be a nice day and it seemed like everyone had a good time. We receive free services for Rocco's vision impairment through Delta Gamma so it's nice to give back. Here are some pictures from the day!
Today was my first official Mother's Day. Last year I found out I was pregnant on Mother's Day and this year I have a 4 month old. We started the day with lunch with Nathan's family. Then we headed over to my grandma and grandpa's house. My mom, dad and brother were also there. At night, we just ordered pizza and hung out at home. I only took one picture today (of Rocco and my grandma) so I'm upset with myself. I needed to document this occasion and should have taken of picture of me and my sweet pea.
On Wednesday, Rocco had the first of what I'm sure will be many vision tests. These tests were to officially diagnose the type of Albinism he has and to see how fast his eyes send signals to his brain and how well he tracks moving objects. We should get the results later this week but please say a prayer that we get good results.
Here are some more recent Rocco pics:
I also never posted about Rocco's last Dr. appt. He actually already has another one next week so I'm sure he's grown but at the last one he was 14 lbs. 13 oz. and 25 inches longs. His height was always above average but now his weight is too. I can't wait to see how big he is at the next appt.!
